This map was designed for Tourist of Costa Rica who were visiting to get their surf on. My main goal was to make the map simple and easy to read/understand. It is not to scale so it is best used for reference. Most of the locations I identified are near the coast so tourist can find nearby locations from wherever they decide to surf.
To simplify the map as much as possible I tried to use symbology that I believe would be directly correlated with the locations purpose. I also color coded the text according to symbology to make it even easier to pick out in tightly labeled areas.
