Lab 8: Designing an MSU Campus Map
This is a map showing a detailed seating arrangement of the stadium as well as surrounding features of the stadium.
Lab 7: Map of Costa Rica
This map was designed for Tourist of Costa Rica who were visiting to get their surf on. My main goal was to make the map simple and easy to read/understand. It is not to scale so it is best used for reference. Most of the locations I identified are near the coast so tourist can find nearby locations from wherever they decide to surf.
To simplify the map as much as possible I tried to use symbology that I believe would be directly correlated with the locations purpose. I also color coded the text according to symbology to make it even easier to pick out in tightly labeled areas.
Lab 6: Map of Michigan II
This Map is a slightly different version of the first map of Michigan. There were some text adjustments/removals as well as enhancements.
Michigan’s color scheme was also tweaked to quickly catch the attention of the viewer.
Lab 4: Cartographic Labeling (Physical Map of the United States)
This Lab assignment tested our ability to properly label features and locations on a map.

the dotted line and then slightly modifying it.
I was instructed to create my own symbol and add an effect to it.
